Blog Candy from Pink Lemonade
I found a very cool blog yesterday from a post made to the Inque Boutique Gallery. Have you checked it out lately? Anyways, Keri from Pink Lemonade posted this card to the IB Gallery with a link to her blog. So I had to go see it – and I found some beautiful blog candy! Stop by her blog and leave her a comment on her gorgeous work and she will enter you into a contest to win it! How fun is that? Then I lingered around her blog some more and read that Inque Boutique will be hosting the CPS Blog Team in the month of August…so that lead me to the CPS Blog. I don’t know how the CPS Blog thing works, but I have till August to figure it out
) How exciting! I thought I would try CPS #72 to see how it all works. I don’t have it ready yet, but hope to work on it today…so stay tuned!
In the meantime, I did some reworking of the links on my sidebar. I now have a category specifically for the design team members of Inque Boutique that currently have a blog, plus a category of any blog I have found with projects using Inque Boutique stamps on them. Sometimes I just want to surf for IB ideas and this will make it easier for me, so I thought it might help some others.
Want to see a card? lol….
I made this for a challenge we are having on the Inque Boutique Advisory Board. The challenge was to use your favorite stamps on a project. My most favorite IB set of all time was discontinued, so this really did pose a challenge to me. I decided to choose two sets that when combined, come in to a close second to my first pick. This was also the first time I’ve ever used my brayer. The brayer I’ve probably had for over a year and have tagged along with me to every crop I go to. I don’t have some grand excuse…but now that I’ve tried it out, I’m really excited about the technique and will have to use it more. I think I used up about 15 pieces of the glossy cardstock before I had something acceptable. It was fun – that’s for sure!
Supplies:
Stamps: Inque Boutique Silhouettes, Sentiments
